CAREER OPPORTUNITY IN CORPORATE LAW AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY LAW Occasioned by the rapid expansion of our client base, we have immediate openings available in our Corporate Department, based in our Head Office in Limassol, for up to four highly motivated legal practitioners specializing in Corporate Law and Information Technology Law to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary organisation of lawyers, accountants and IT Professionals. The Corporate Department The Corporate Department offers a broad range of legal services including Corporate, Company, Trust, Mergers & Acquisitions, Competition, Banking and Securities Law, International Tax Planning and Cross-Border Transactions. In addition to the above we have created an e-Business Group which offers a wide spectrum of legal services relating to online business, multi-media, information technology, intellectual property, telecommunications and broadcasting. The Position Each successful candidate will be expected to work with minimum supervision and will be fully responsible for his/her own case load, reporting directly to Corporate Department’s Partner in charge. The role is predominantly non-contentious. Candidates should be technically able, commercially perceptive and outgoing. The Qualifications • Good degree or diploma in law, preferably from an English speaking university. • Literacy in English (knowledge of Greek, although preferable, is not essential). • Postgraduate degree in Corporate Law, Information Technology Law, or any further specialisation in Internet or e-commerce Law would be an additional asset. • Previous work experience with a Cypriot or overseas law firm will be an advantage. An attractive remuneration package, including medical insurance and provident fund, will be offered to each successful candidate in line with experience and qualifications.
